Ragging is an offence
The Anti-Ragging Committee of Kothari Institute of Nursing has set the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the University level shall be any one or a combination of the following:
- Suspension from attending classes
- Cancellation of admission
- Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process
- Suspension/expulsion from the hostel
- Expulsion from the institution
Preventive measures taken by the Institution:
- All the freshers, existing students, and their parents/guardians shall submit an undertaking in the prescribed form at the beginning of the academic session
- All the students will follow rules and regulations scrupulously to ensure a healthy academic atmosphere and make it a ragging-free campus.
- Strict monitoring by anti-ragging squad Joint sensitization program and anti-ragging campaign on regular basis
- Mentor assigned for freshers to observe and counsel them
- Anti-ragging posters displayed in college and hostel campus
